By the end of 2011 Coke will have finished rolling out new labeling for it’s products. In addition to the required nutritional information on the back of products, the new labels will feature calorie counts ‘front and center’. It is said that this will better allow the consumer to make an informed decision on what they choose to drink.
For most people, the leap of faith into the world of online printing is a no brainer – another service that makes my life easier? – OK! But, as a designer it initially seems like a loss of control over your final product – for you or for your client. But, with instant quotes and competitive pricing, online printing certainly has it’s place.
An exhibit called, Design for a Living World, is on view at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum until January 2010. It is a showcase of sustainable and natural materials and how they affect people, cultures, and the environment around the world. I have not seen the show yet, but I will be following up.

The user can click and choose their preference in hair type, ferrule, handle style and handle color to build and brand their own cosmetics brush. Finally, the user can preview, save, print and even purchase a sample before committing to a high volume order.

What an amazing trip! 2 weeks traveling around Australia in such diverse landscapes will definitely fill you with new inspiration, no matter what you do. If I had the opportunity, I would move to Sydney (I’m a city rat) but the sky and stillness of the Outback is overwhelming. And then there’s the Great Barrier Reef - a place so beautiful, I felt guilty for tainting it.
I had just purchased a new Canon digital SLR (EOS Rebel XSi) and it was one of my best investments. The Rebel XSi is a great value, as it has all the features that allow you to really experiment with your photography style, but also can be as simple as point and shoot. I highly recommend it.
